Ferry Meadows: February programme

EVEN though the weather is still struggling to break from its winter freeze, there's plenty of reason to leave the house and enjoy Peterborough's Ferry Meadows park.

EVEN though the weather is still struggling to break from its winter freeze, there's plenty of reason to leave the house and enjoy Peterborough's Ferry Meadows park. These are the key events happening in February, all organised by the Nene Park Trust.

Walking makes you feel good and improves your health, so the Monday health walk provides an ideal opportunity to have fun and meet new people.

Everybody is welcome on the walks, including people who wouldn't call themselves active, but organisers are especially keen to meet people who are trying to build up their daily activity levels.

The walks are led by specially trained walk leaders, and take place from 10.30am to 11.30am on Mondays.

To book (entry is free), call Helen Mould on 01733 349024 or e-mail her at helen.mould@btinternet.com.
