700 city jobs at Emap are safe
German-owned publishing powerhouse H Bauer has spent 1.14 billion to snap up Emap's consumer magazines and radio sections and says the only change will be the name.
Comment: What finally caused Emap's fall?
Was it poor management lacking a focused strategy for the Peterborough born and bred publishing empire, or was it a lack of patience by the city's big investors eager for what they perceive as a proper return on their investment?
