Broadway theatre closes

6 March 2009: With tears in his eyes, Peterborough entrepreneur Rinaldo Fasulo admitted his insurance company had refused to pay out and the Broadway theatre would close. On 25 January, 2009 a fire – believed to be arson – devastates the Broadway theatre.

Then on Thursday, 5th March Rinaldo reveals the theatre will not be reopening.

The end for the Broadway

With his dream dead amongst the ashes, owner Rinaldo Fasulo said today (6 March) that the fire ravaged Broadway theatre will not reopen.

He said: "I am shocked and stunned."
