An exploding gas cylinder caused Mount Pleasant Road in Wisbech to be shut last night (Monday).
The fire involved a shed, fencing and trees and had started to spread to a garage.

Eight firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used jets and hose reels to extinguish the fire.
Police closed the road while the incident was dealt with.
One cylinder, located inside the shed, exploded. No body was hurt. Two other cylinders were involved in the incident and these were removed by firefighters and cooled down.
Station Commander Jamie Johnson said: “The crews were met with a quickly spreading fire, which involved a number of cylinders. It was a very arduous and dynamic situation for firefighters who did extremely well to contain and extinguish the fire.”
Crews returned to their stations by 8.55pm.
Re-inspections took place overnight to check for hotspots.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
