A NEW survey has revealed one of the biggest dliemmas facing office workers in the Peterborough area.It is whether to kiss or shake hands when greeting clients or colleagues of the opposite sex.
The research by secretarial recruitment consultancy Office Angels shows that 46 per cent of staff worry about the right thing to do in these encounters.
The poll also showed 19 per cent embarrassingly clashed faces with a colleague or client when aiming to kiss opposite cheeks and 13 per cent became so concerned about whether to kiss or shake that they have forgotten the name of the person they’re greeting.
A very embarrassed six per cent have even accidentally groped their colleagues or clients as one party has gone in for the kiss, the other the shake.
