Peterborough branch of Office Angels spreads its wings

The team at Office Angels has this month re-opened the doors of their newly-refurbished office at 3 Church Street, Peterborough.

The team at Office Angels has this month re-opened the doors of their newly-refurbished office at 3 Church Street, Peterborough. The major refurbishment highlights Office Angels' continued commitment to the Peterborough area, which has experienced steady growth in secretarial and office-based roles since the branch opened in 1994.

It also cements its position as the recruitment agency of choice in the city centre, and the starting point for many candidates' new careers, and clients' recruitment needs.

The renovated branch, located in the heart of Peterborough, is designed to offer the very best facilities for candidates, including private interview rooms, training facilities and on-line candidate registration.

Branch manager Alex James is excited about welcoming people into the renovated branch.

"We have an enthusiastic team here at Office Angels who are all from Peterborough and the surrounding areas, and have a wealth of experience in the local market," he said.

The Peterborough team are award-winning, both as a branch and as individuals, including Rachel Utting who came third in the annual company awards in 2007 for her role as an assignment co-ordinator. Rachel is currently in first position, which truly reflects the level of service and commitment she gives to her clients and candidates.

The permanent recruitment team consists of Richard Williams and Holly Evans, and fulfilling the vitally important reception and administration side is Alannah Di Cataldo and Lucy Burston.

The staff at Peterborough don't want to let skilled people pass them by. That's why they offer their candidates more. They can help identify a career path that suits a candidate's skills, experience and personality, as well as providing PC skills evaluation and training, access to exclusive vacancies and CV and interview advice – all for free.

The Angels have a reputation for offering quick and effective solutions to clients' recruitment needs. Recruiting can be trying and time-consuming, which is why they strive to make the experience as hassle-free as possible for all their clients.

Mr James said: "Peterborough increasingly has to compete with London and Cambridge to attract and retain top candidates. Office Angels delivers just the right unique and personal service to our customers to ensure we match the right person to the right job. We operate an open-door policy and encourage everyone to step in to check out the latest jobs on offer, or even just say hello."

Office Angels has had considerable success nationwide this year, when the organisation was named as the UK's eighth best company to work for in The Sunday Times annual and esteemed awards.

It also held on to its title as the UK's leading secretarial and office support recruitment consultancy for another year running.

An "incredible" 87 per cent of Office Angels staff stated they love working for the organisation and a "whopping" 92 per cent of employees think their team is fun to work with. It is this recognition that really counts for the organisation and Mr James agrees that the results reflect the experience of the local branch.

“Although we are committed to delivering the best service to our clients and candidates, we also enjoy having fun in the office. This result in the Sunday Times awards is a great testament to the effort and dedication Office Angels puts into ensuring its own Angels feel happy and valued within their roles,” he said.
