Longthorpe Tower, in Thorpe Road, Peterborough, is part of a fortified manor house and has some of the very finest 14th-century domestic wall paintings in Europe.

Longthorpe Tower, in Thorpe Road, Peterborough, is part of a fortified manor house and has some of the very finest 14th-century domestic wall paintings in Europe.The scenes include the Nativity, the wheel of life and King David. The paintings were discovered during renovations after the Second World War.

The Tower added in 1310 to a fortified manor house, is currently in the care of English Heritage. The site is a Grade I listed building.
