Indesit Company has won not one, but two prestigious industry awards for its dedicated in-house product training team and the innovative Moon washing machine, at the IER Independent Marketing Awards.
Indesit Company has won not one, but two prestigious industry awards for its dedicated in-house product training team and the innovative Moon washing machine, at the IER Independent Marketing Awards.The UK product training team, who are based in Peterborough, secured the Best Training Award – Domestics Appliances for the second year running, while the Indesit Moon was awarded Most Impactful Product.
Managing director Enrico Vita said: “I am delighted that we have received such prestigious industry recognition.
“These awards are voted for by our independent trade retail customers, and it is a real measure of how they value our innovative new products and the product training support we provide.
“We received the training award for our combination of training methods – regular store visits from the team, coupled with our product training academy courses, which we run in Peterborough.”
The IER Independent Marketing Awards are run annually by Independent Electrical Retailer magazine, and are acknowledged as one of the most prestigious awards events in the electrical retailing industry.
The awards recognise excellence in three major categories: consumer electronics, major domestic appliances and small appliances, and in each category there are awards for consumer advertising, most impactful product and best training.
Entrants had to impress a panel of industry experts to secure a shortlisting, and then readers of the magazine had the final say as they voted for their favourite products.
