AFTER 44 years in the same venue, this year's World Conker Championships will have a new location.
AFTER 44 years in the same venue, this year's World Conker Championships will have a new location.The championships have been held in Ashton, near Oundle, since its inauguration in 1965.
With the number of players and spectators soaring, a larger location than the village green was needed, so they will be held less than a mile away at New Lodge Fields, between Ashton and Polebrook, on October 11.
