Green spaces: There are two sides to the site. On the west side is a reedbed which is home to birds such as the reed warbler and reed bunting, as well as great crested newts and water beetles.

On the east side there is a small lake and herons can be regularly seen patrolling the edges while the open water is used by many species of ducks.

WHERE: Go out of the centre of Peterborough on Oundle Road. Take the fifth turn on the right into Wharf Road and park. Walk to the end of the road to Woodston Reach cycle path (take care when crossing the railway line).
