MORE than a dozen volunteers have helped to create a picturesque haven for Peterborough's frogs.
MORE than a dozen volunteers have helped to create a picturesque haven for Peterborough's frogs.RB Organic, in Great Drove, Yaxley, near Peterborough, which is part of the Produce World Growing Trust, teamed up with city-based Froglife to create a pair of ponds in an area of wasteland.
The initiative also took place as part of National Environment Week and Volunteer at Work day and saw staff landscaping the area and creating two ponds along with a dipping platform, which they hope will be used by families and children in months to come.
Operations manager for RB Organic Katie Stark said: "In the past couple of years we have installed some reed beds to help clean our water naturally."
