Thief flees with paper shredder

A CROOK scaled a fence armed with a paper shredder following a burglary at a DIY store.

A CROOK scaled a fence armed with a paper shredder following a burglary at a DIY store.Focus DIY in Martin Avenue, March was broken into at about 9.30pm on Sunday, November 18.

A man climbed an 8ft fence and used a paving slab to smash his way into the store.

He then stole a paper shredder and climbed back over the fence into Hostmoor Avenue - which is directly opposite a Tesco supermarket car park.

PC Justin Bielawski said: "This crime was committed a quite a busy time of night and I am sure that shoppers and people driving and walking along Hostmoor Avenue will have noticed this man climbing over the fence.""
