PEOPLE living in villages around Peterborough are being invited to air their views about future plans for rural communities.

PEOPLE living in villages around Peterborough are being invited to air their views about future plans for rural communities.Two meetings are being hosted later this month in Peakirk and Barnack, near Stamford, by the Greater Peterborough Partnership (GPP).

Organisers say they aim to provide residents with an update on work to deliver Peterborough's rural strategy and action plan and to hear their views on issues including housing, the environment, transport and the impact of the economic downturn.

The Barnack meeting is taking place on Monday, January 19, and the Peakirk meeting is being held on Monday, January 26.
