UPDATE 12.30PM: GRUB-EATING and creepy crawlies galore are on cards for the fiance of a Peterborough United footballer as she steps into the jungle for I'm A Celebrity . . . Get Me Out Of Here!Glamour model Nicola McLean (25), who is engaged to Posh star Tommy Williams, will be swapping the glum weather of Peterborough for the exotic Australian jungle.
Nicola has been out in Oz since Sunday, and, until today, has had no idea who her fellow contestants are, since she has been kept under lock and key by ITV chiefs since her arrival down under.
But it won't be all T-shirts and suntans for the mum-of-one, as the popular show will see the model come face-to-face will some of the scariest creatures on the planet in the Bushtucker Trials.
Nicola's task is made all the more difficult with the fact that her phobias include spiders, rats, snakes, heights, moths and butterflies – but Tommy (28) is sure his fiance can come out on top.
Tommy said: "She's like me, she doesn't like losing, and she's in it to win it. But she won't be too keen on the trials, because she's scared of everything, so she might struggle on a few things."
While Nicola battles it out against her fellow I'm A Celebrity contestants, Tommy is left to care for the couple's two-year-old son Rocky.
It's a task the popular left-sided player, who was set to move house to Peterborough with Nicola next week, is happy to do, with a little bit of help from his mum.
Tommy added: "We've been fine, and I've been staying at my mum's house for a couple of days, so she has him while I'm training.
"But when I get home it's me and him and that's fine, and we do lots of things together."
