BEST-SELLING author Robert Goddard paid a visit to Peterborough to talk about his new book.

BEST-SELLING author Robert Goddard paid a visit to Peterborough to talk about his new book.Mr Goddard met fans and signed copies of his latest offering, Found Wanting, at Peterborough's John Clare Theatre in Central Library, Broadway, last week.

Found Wanting is about a man who is asked to do one last favour for an old friend who is dying.

However, the favour has to be done immediately.

The man reluctantly agrees, but what should be a simple errand soon turns into a race for life.

Reading promotion and event co-ordinator for Peterborough City Council Gill Benedikz said: "Robert Goddard is a very talented writer, and I was thrilled he chose to come to Peterborough to talk about his work and meet residents.

"I hope all his fans enjoyed the opportunity."

Mr Goddard was born in Hampshire. He was educated at Price's Grammar School, Fareham and read history at Peterhouse College, Cambridge.

He worked as an educational administrator in Devon before becoming a full-time novellist.
