A POLICE raid saw officers descend on a house in Scotney Street, New England, Peterborough, this morning (Monday) before leading three people away.

A POLICE raid saw officers descend on a house in Scotney Street, New England, Peterborough, this morning (Monday) before leading three people away.Neighbours were woken when several police vans pulled up outside the property at about 5am and officers forced their way inside.

Scotney Street resident and Peterborough city councillor Charles Swift said: "There were half a dozen vans and police went into the house and took some people away."

"They were still there at gone nine o'clock this morning coming out with plastic bags."
