Nearly time to renew brown bin payments in Peterborough

Households which already subscribe to brown bin collections can renew from Monday, April 3 for £39.

This will cover bi-weekly garden waste collections from May 22 to May 18, 2018.

Councillor Gavin Elsey, council cabinet member for waste and street scene, said: “We’re delighted that so many households - over 21,000 now - subscribed to the brown bin scheme last year.

“However if you don’t want to sign up there are other options to dispose of your garden waste such as the Household Recycling Centre in Dogsthorpe.”

Residents can pay the annual brown bin annual fee or subscribe for the first time:

- by telephone on 01733 747474.

Existing brown bin owners need to renew their subscriptions by May 15 if they do not want a break in their collections.
