MP presents pupils with computers at supermarket
LOCAL MP Shailesh Vara has presented Peterborough schools with computer equipment gained through a supermarket scheme.
LOCAL MP Shailesh Vara has presented Peterborough schools with computer equipment gained through a supermarket scheme.MP for North West Cambridgeshire Mr Vara visited the Tesco store at Hargate Way in Hampton, Peterborough, on Friday to present equipment earned under the Tesco Schools and Clubs scheme by collecting special vouchers with shopping.
He handed over equipment to pupils and staff from Braybrook Primary School in Orton Goldhay, Fourfields Primary School in Yaxley, near Peterborough, Oakdale County Primary School in Stanground, Stilton Primary School, in Stilton, near Peterborough, and William de Yaxley Junior School, in Yaxley.
Mr Vara said: “I am delighted to once again make awards of equipment at Tesco’s Schools and Clubs presentation.
“I know that the schools are grateful for the support, as the new equipment really makes a difference.”
