The popular four-piece hit the headlines in the last quarter of 2008 as they went right through the auditions of ITV1's X Factor programme through to the final, where they finished as runners-up to Alexandra Burke.

JLS, who also feature Oritse, Marvin and JB, will be performing at the Metro Club, in London Road, on Saturday, 7 February, and Sunday, 8 February.

And promoter Simon Baker has announced that 50 of the more than 1,000 who are expected at each performance will get the chance to meet the band in a signing session after each show.

Tickets can be bought online at www.high-society.uk.com, or from both P-Kai Hairdressers, in the city centre's Westgate Arcade, and at Hampton's Serpentine Green shopping centre, from Monday (5 January).
