TWO men left a city man with a catalogue of serious injuries after attacking him with a steering lock.Adeyinka Morgan and Delwin Grandy appeared at Peterborough Crown Court after being found guilty of the assault at a trial earlier this year.

The court heard that Morgan and Grandy had driven from Stevenage to Peterborough looking for Paul Emuan.

When they finally found him at his flat, Morgan started attacking Mr Emuan with the steering lock.

The pair then left the flat, but returned minutes later, when Mr Emuan was standing outside, and along with another man, who has never been caught, started another assault.

Mr Emuan suffered injuries to his head, arms and chest, and still has not gained the full use of his left arm.

Morgan (27), of Grace Way, Stevenage, was given a suspended sentence of 12 months for causing actual bodily harm and 12 months for causing grievous bodily harm, to be served concurrently.

He was also ordered to take part in an aggression therapy course.

Grandy (20), of Ridgeway, Stevenage, was given a 12-month suspended sentence for causing grievous bodily harm.

Both men were also ordered to carry out 80 hours unpaid work, and pay costs of 400 each.
