LEARNING how to lead a healthy lifestyle was fun and games for youngsters in the city.Children's exercise classes are being held at the Regional Swimming and Fitness Centre, in Bishops Road, Peterborough for youngsters aged five upwards.

The sessions encourage children to keep fit and eat healthy foods by learning through a range of games and activities.

The youngsters particularly enjoyed experimenting with a large parachute which they could hide under and make different shapes with.

Fitness instructor Zoe Hiller said: "It was a health-related exercise for children in a bid to educate them and hopefully their parents into leading a healthy lifestyle.

"We wanted to show the children that fitness is not just about running machines and dumbbells, but also having fun and burning off energy.

"The children really enjoyed playing crocodiles, mountains and popcorn games with the parachute."
