KIOSKS which provide a wealth of information on a range of topics have just been installed in three libraries.South Holland District Council, in partnership with Lincolnshire County Council, has installed three community information booths in libraries in Crowland, Holbeach and Donington, covering topics such as vacancies, transport, local councillors and local and county services.

This information can be delivered electronically at the touch of a button.

South Holland’s portfolio holder for customer legal and member services, councillor Mick Seymour, said: “Staff have been working very hard on the development and installation of these kiosks, and it is gratifying to see the end results. They are a real asset to delivering access to services, which is a key priority for us here at South Holland District Council.”

This project has cost 32,000 in total.
