Firefighters save home from blaze

ARSONISTS are believed to have started a fence fire which almost spread to a home.

ARSONISTS are believed to have started a fence fire which almost spread to a home.Firefighters from March were sent to the blaze in Creek Road, March, on Thursday at 3.07pm.

When they arrived they discovered the fire had started to spread to the exterior of a home. However, no one was in the home at the time.

The exterior of the home, including the UPVC windows were singed by fire, but it hadn’t taken hold of the home. The cause of the fire was deliberate.
