Eye Primary School celebrated a successful football season. The school’s A Team, made up of 10 to 11-year-olds, had a wonderful season, winning many awards, including inter-school competitions.

Coach Dominic Ross said: “The A Team won the Soke 5-a-side, which involved 18 other teams. They also came runners up in the Peterborough League Cup final.”

To complete an almost perfect season, they also finished as Champions in the Nene League for Primary Schools. With many of the team leaving at the end of the school to go on to secondary education, Eye will be hoping for more success next year with a new set of players.
