10.45AM: A fire crew from Stanground was called out late last night - after arsonists set fire to roadworks on Oundle Road in Peterborough.

10.45AM: A fire crew from Stanground was called out late last night - after arsonists set fire to roadworks on Oundle Road in Peterborough.The controversial roadworks were torched at 11.35pm. Firefighters extinguished the fire using hose reels and returned to base at 11.51pm.

The cause of the fire is believed to be deliberate.
