A CITY charity is going to have a real carry on when it tries to auction off a saucy slip belonging to Cockney queen Barbara Windsor.

The Peterborough Volunteers Centre wrote to the star of the famous Carry On films, hoping to get a few signed photos of the perky actress for its annual raffle.
But, as well as some signed prints, pint-sized Barbara sent back a see-through white negligee, similar to ones she used to prance around in and send co-star Syd James temperature rising in the Carry On romps.
However, despite numerous fans saying the slip could have been worn by Barbara in Carry On Doctor - it actually came from her private collection.
The group is now preparing to auction it off to raise much-needed cash for its annual awards evening.
Every year the PVC holds a raffle to raise money for the following years awards night.
It is not known why Barbara decided to part with the garment, but it is a fair guess that she wont be needing to wear it behind the bar of the Queen Vic, in her latest role as Peggy in EastEnders.
Cara Rodgers, a volunteer co-ordinator based in Lincoln Court, Peterborough, said: "It was such a lovely surprise when we received it in the post. We were all so excited, but nobody has tried it on because it is so tiny and see-through - you can just imagine her wearing it.
"It was such a lovely gesture for her to send it to us. Staff here havent stopped talking about it since it arrived."
Instead of raffling off the slip as a prize at its volunteer awards evening at the Town Hall, on December 6, the group is now planning to auction it off to the highest bidder. Perhaps an undie-cover Carry On fanatic will snap it up.
Mrs Rodgers added: "This could be worth a lot of money to someone willing to pay to get it as a collectors item."
A spokeswoman for the famous Sotherbys Auction House, in London, said she couldnt estimate how much the slip would fetch.
A spokesman for Barbaras agent confirmed the slip was one of her own, and not one from a Carry On wardrobe.
