A CHARITY is set to relaunch its retro store with an auction featuring coveted designer pieces.
A CHARITY is set to relaunch its retro store with an auction featuring coveted designer pieces.Sue Ryder care will be officially re-opening its extended vintage and retro shop in Bridge Street, Peterborough, on Saturday, July 11, with the addition of a first floor sales area.
To mark the occasion, they are holding a “secret auction” of a Chanel handbag and a pair of anniversary edition Rayban sunglasses.
Several bids have already been made for the items, which can be inspected at the shop. The winning bids will be announced at 4pm on July 11.
Shop manager Sophie Waters said: “It promises to be a treasure trove.”
There will be a DJ, retro cakes and a tombola.
The launch will also feature the charity’s Ryder Guitars, designed by leading professional guitarist, Mark Griffiths.
The Sue Ryder Care Vintage and Retro shop will also be extending its opening hours during the summer to seven days per week.
