CCTV released after watches worth thousands of pounds stolen

Police are appealing to anyone who can identify the man in the light coloured hooded top in these CCTV images after a break-in.

Police are appealing to anyone who can identify the man in the light coloured hooded top in these CCTV images after a break-in.The image is of a man police believe may have been involved in a burglary at a clock shop in St Leonard's Street, Stamford, between 5.40pm and 5.50pm on August 18.

The incident involved an offender breaking into the first floor of the premises, which doubles and a workshop and shop.

They then broke into a display cabinet and stole several thousand pounds worth of watches.

Anyone who can identify the person in the image, or who has any information about the incident, can call Stamford Police Station on: (01780) 752222, quoting incident number 303 of August 18.
