A FLAGSHIP programme for religious and ethical debate will be screened live from a Peterborough school into homes across the nation on Sunday. The Big Questions, BBC1's topical Sunday morning discussion show, is being broadcast direct from the main hall at Jack Hunt School, in Netherton, from 10am.

Television and radio presenter, Nicky Campbell, will host the show, which aims to address tricky moral questions facing the country today, with a panel of guests, including writer Germaine Greer and editor of British Muslim magazine, Q News, Fareena Alam.

Headteacher Roy Duncan believes that this kind of event is the perfect use for the school hall, which was built almost two years ago to help promote use of school facilities to the community.

He said: "We are very keen on our resources being used by the community and I'm very pleased they are coming to do the show here."

Melissa Damico, production co-ordinator for Mentorn Oxford, which is behind the BBC show, said the city was an ideal venue of the programme.

The Big Questions, from Jack Hunt School, in Peterborough will be shown live on BBC1 at 10am on Sunday, 21 June. Useful link: www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b007zpll
