Showcase success for PRC's Tara
Tara Pasveer, a Level 3 Music student at Peterborough Regional College has won the rethinkyourmind Band Showcase competition, held at the Guildhall Leicester, after fighting off tough competition from Leicester College students.
The track was written by Tara, based on a poem ‘Morning Run’ by Romalyn Ante which was published in the rethinkyourmind 2015 Yellow Book, and was then recorded and mixed by Level 2 music students at PRC.
After her win, Tara said: “All the artists that performed were really inspiring. This is the start of a big adventure for me and I am really looking forward to what is coming next. I really enjoyed performing at the event as a whole and I saw that everyone there was enjoying it as well. I was surprised I won but I am really happy.”
