During the Easter holidays, twelve Oundle School pupils headed off to France for a spectacular French exchange with the pupils at Saint-Charles School in Orleans, France.
During their visit the pupils spent time at the school shadowing their French exchange partners in their lessons, along with trips to Chinatown in Paris, Disneyland and to the famous New Orleans Zoo.
Pupil George Brettle (14)said: “We spent time with our French families who treated us to a variety of trips.
“We left Orleans looking forward to receiving our partners in the summer.”
French teacher Sophie Fonteneau, who organised the trip, said: “This was an excellent opportunity for them to immerse themselves into the french language, culture and way of life.”
