Parents invited to gander at the Goslings

TEACHERS from a village nursery school have spent the day meeting prospective parents and their little ones.

The Coates Goslings Pre-school, a part of Coates Primary School in Coates village, near Whittlesey, opened their doors on January 30.

Pre-school leader Julia Chapman led walk-rounds before handing out advice on enrolment and lessons.

Joanne Tomlins, headteacher of Coates Primary School said: “The day was a real success and I hope those who visited went away with a real understanding of the high standards which are embedded throughout the whole of our school setting.

“From our ‘Little Ducklings’ parent and toddler group to our ‘Goslings Pre-school’ and throughout our Key Stages 1 and 2 classes, we believe that the children of Coates School deserve the best education and opportunities we can give them.”

Any parents who missed the open day can call the main school office for an appointment on 01733 840 527.
