Students remain off at Nene Park Academy as the effects of flooding are still being felt.

All pupils in Years 7, 12 and 13 are expected to attend today (December 1) as well as Year 11 pupils who have geography and business studies exams.

All other pupils have been asked to stay at home.

The academy is still unable to return to a full opening due to health and safety considerations with large machinery on site.

Flooding on Thursday November 27 was caused by a burst water pipe in one of the washrooms at the academy.

The academy was also partially open on the Friday as well.

The school will be open tomorrow (Tuesday) but some classes will have to be moved to different rooms.
