The project to build a new home for a children’s charity in Peterborough and give the Spinney play centre a new lease of life will be shown tonight (13 November) at 8pm.
The DIY SOS project for Children In Need at the Ravensthorpe children’s play centre will be shown on BBC One this week: ’DIY SOS: Million Pound Build for BBC Children in Need’ broadcast at 8pm - bbc.co.uk.
During the building project, DIY SOS presenter Nick Knowles put a number of appeals out for tradesmen to come and help at the site.

The main Children In Need appeal will be broadcast on Friday evening on BBC One.
The Spinney was shut as part of a raft of play centre closures announced in cost cutting measures by Peterborough City Council in its February budget.
There were eight centres, in locations across the city.
Only The Spinney and the Thistle Drive centres are set to reopen.
