Young man stabbed in assault in Eastfield street

A man suffered stab wounds during an incident in Eastfield in Peterborough on Saturday night.

Police were called at 8.36pm on Saturday, February 25, to reports of violence in Wellington Street.

The victim, a man in his 20s, was assaulted by two men. He received stab wounds as a result of the incident, but his injuries are not considered life-threatening.

Officers are currently investigating the incident, including exploring forensic and CCTV opportunities. It is believed this is an isolated incident.
