Woman sexually assaulted by stranger near fountain

Police are appealing for information following a sexual assault in Huntingdon.

The incident took place in High Street, Huntingdon, near to the fountain at around 3am on Sunday, July 24 when a woman in her 20s was approached by a man she did not know who sexually assaulted her.

The victim pushed the man away and he became involved in an argument with the victim and her female friend.

Police are keen to speak to the man in the CCTV image about the incident.
