UPDATE: Police hunt for two men after stabbing at Woodston pub

A man suffered serious stab wounds after being attacked by two men in a pub beer garden in Peterborough this afternoon, Saturday June 4.

Police were called to the Swiss Cottage pub in Peterborough at 1.46pm this afternoon to reports of a stabbing in the beer garden.

Two men entered the pub and went into the rear garden where a fight broke out with two other men.

One of those men has been stabbed and has been taken to Peterborough City Hospital with serious, but not life threatening, injuries.

The two assailants have then fled the pub and are being searched for by police.

The attack is being treated as an “isolated incident.”
