Police were called to reports of a fight involving 100 people in Peterborough City Centre on Friday night.
Officers were called at 11pm on Friday (February 24) to reports of violent disorder involving up to 100 people in Station Road, Peterborough.
Police said the disorder started at an event in the Great Northern Hotel, which then spilt out onto the street.
Eyewitnesses told the Peterborough Telegraph that blood could be seen on the pavement in Station Road and the railway station concourse was closed as a precaution.
Police and ambulance crews attended the scene, restored order and the group dispersed.
Four people were taken to Peterborough City Hospital with minor injuries.
The incident is being investigated, but no arrests have yet been made.
A police spokesman added: “When so many people are involved it’s hard to establish who has done what straight away.
“When police attended the crowd quickly dispersed. Investigations are ongoing and we’re checking CCTV and talking to staff at the Great Northern Hotel.”
The Great Northern Hotel has been contacted for comment about the incident...more to follow.
