Two arrested in Whittlesey for being in UK illegally
Two illegal immigrants were arrested in Whittlesey last night, Monday, after their vehicle was subject to a routine police traffic stop.
The vehicle was stopped in Norht Bank at 9pm and the occupants, two men aged 26 and 15, both from Peterborough, were arrested after immigration checks revealed they were in the UK illegally.
They were taken to the Police Investigation Centre (PIC) in Kings Lynn where they remain.
Their vehicle was also seized for having no insurance.
