Three men have appeared in court after drugs worth hundreds of thousands of pounds were found in a Peterborough home.

About 600 cannabis plants were seized with an estimated street value of hundreds of thousands of pounds from the address in Park Road after a police raid on Wednesday, December 16.

Andrit Domi, 21, of an unknown address, has been charged with producing cannabis.

Vitmir Domi, 26, of an unknown address, has also been charged with producing cannabis and causing grievous bodily harm with intent to resist arrest.

Endrit Sopaj, 21, of an unknown address, has been charged with producing cannabis.

All three appeared at Peterborough Magistrates’ Court today (Friday, December 18).

The raid was part of work to tackle anti-social behaviour around Central Park, which has been in response to concerns by local residents raised with the Safer Peterborough partnership.

Other proactive patrols have resulted in several men being stopped, searched and being found in possession of drugs and cash.
