Three men have been arrested after drugs worth hundreds of thousands of pounds were found in a Peterborough home.

About 600 cannabis plants were seized with an estimated street value of hundreds of thousands of pounds from the address in Park Road after a police raid yesterday (Wednesday).

Three men, all Albanian, two aged 21 and another 26 were arrested during the 11am operation. They remain in custody at Thorpe Wood Police Station.

The raid was part of work to tackle anti-social behaviour around Central Park, which has been in response to concerns by local residents raised with the Safer Peterborough partnership.

Other proactive patrols have resulted in several men being stopped, searched and being found in possession of drugs and cash.
