Suspected illegal immigrants seen fleeing from back of lorry on A16 at Peterborough
This is the moment a lorry pulled over on the A16 and around 10 people scrambled out of its rear doors before making off across the fields.
The photo was taken on the A16 just outside Peterborough near Car Dyke Bridge at around 7pm on Sunday, April 23.
Police are aware of the incident and are investigating after social media was filled with suggestions that the individuals were immigrants that have entered the country illegally.
