Monday 12.45pm: Staff were threatened with a screwdriver by robbers at a store in Brotherhood Shopping Park in Peterborough.

The terrifying armed robbery happened at about 5pm on Tuesday, November 25 at the Carphone Warehouse store in the Lincoln Road retail park.

Three men entered the store. One of the men threatened two staff members while the others stole a number of high value mobile phones.

The men fled the shop in the directions of Morrisons.

The first man was white and described as 5’10”, well-built and in his mid 20s. He was wearing a dark sports jacket, faded jeans, trainers and a dark woolly hat. The second man was black and described as having short dark hair, 6’1”, slender and in his mid 20s. He was wearing a dark tracksuit, dark scarf around his face, a dark woolly hat and carrying a dark back pack. The third man is described as tanned, 5’8” and medium build. He was wearing dark clothing, a dark scarf around his face and a dark woolly hat.

DC Kevin Poole said: “I would like to hear from anyone who was at the retail park and saw these men or who has any information about the robbery.

“Thankfully no one was hurt but it was a frightening experience for the two members of staff.”
