Robbers left empty handed after threatening staff at a newsagents in Peterborough.

Police have now released CCTV images of two men they want to speak to in connection with the incident.

The robbery happened at about 8pm on Monday, December 7, when two men entered AA News and threatened a lone member of staff.

They left empty handed, having demanded money and cigarettes.

Detective Constable Sarah Phillips said: “This cowardly incident has left its victim fearful and shaken and I urge anyone with information to come forward.

“I am particularly keen to speak with the two men in the CCTV images.”
