Reward offered one year after Wisbech man went missing as detectives believe he may have been murdered

Ricardas Puisys, 35, was last seen at his place of work at Nightlayer Leek Company, in Dean Drove, Iretons Way, Chatteris, on September 26, and colleagues and friends are concerned they have not seen or heard from him since this date.

Despite multiple public appeals to find him, police have been unable to trace him and believe he may have been murdered.

Detective Chief Inspector Adam Gallop, from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Major Crime Unit, said: “Ricardas’ disappearance is a mystery

“I am near positive that the answer to Ricardas’ disappearance lies within the local community – someone knows what has happened to him and I urge them to do the right thing and come forward.

“Any information, no matter how small or insignificant it may seem, could be vital in our inquiry. You do not have to speak to police officers if you are concerned about speaking out, you can pass information completely anonymously via Crimestoppers.”

The independent charity, Crimestoppers, is offering a reward of up to £10,000 for information which leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or people responsible.*
