Police officer acquitted of harassment and common assault
A police officer has been acquitted on one count of harassment and one of common assault.
Sergeant Spencer Evans (40) based at Bridge Street Police station, appeared at St Albans Crown Court yesterday (Monday, June 27).
Both charges were discontinued following a direction by the judge.
Sergeant Evans is suspended from duty pending consideration of police misconduct matters.
