Tuesday 10.30am: Police are trying to trace a Peterborough woman who has gone missing from her home.

Wendy Simms, (52), was last seen at her home address in South Parade, Peterborough, on Thursday (December 11) at about 6pm, wearing a dark jacket and trousers.

She is considered vulnerable and officers are concerned for her welfare.

Wendy is described as white, 5’6”, medium build with collar length blonde hair, blue eyes and glasses. She has a tattoo on the inside of her left wrist which says ‘Emily and Andrew’.

PC Lorna Owen, from the force’s missing person’s unit, said: “We are becoming increasingly concerned for Wendy’s welfare, particularly as the weather has been below freezing.

“Her green Ford Fiesta, registration EK04 BFU, is also missing from her home address, we believe she may be in or near it.

“I would urge anyone with information about her whereabouts to contact police on 101.”
