Peterborough man charged with daylight street stabbing in Hampton

A 20-year-old man from Peterborough has been charged in connection with a stabbing which took place in Hampton on Friday.

Curtis Seymour, of Hambury, Orton Goldhay, has been charged with GBH and remanded to appear at Cambridge Magistrates’ Court this morning, July 12.

The victim, a 31-year-old man from Peterborough, has been discharged from hospital and is recovering at home after being stabbed in the chest.

The stabbing happened in Hargate Way, Hampton Hargate, Peterborough on Friday, July 8 at about 2.25pm.

Following the incident a police cordon was put in place around the One Stop Shop, and customers were unable to access the store while investigations took place.
