Peterborough man arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following reports of violence at a home
A police spokesperson said: “We were called at about 2.30am this morning with reports of violence at a house in Paynesholm, Paston.
“Officers attended, however the offender had left the location. Searches of the local area were conducted and the suspect was located.

Hide Ad“A 40-year-old man from Peterborough has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and is currently in custody at Thorpe Wood Police Station.
“The victim, a woman in her 30s, suffered minor injuries.
“This is being treated as an isolated incident, however inquiries are ongoing.
“Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.”
