Nitro takedown sees Peterborough man jailed for spate of burglaries

A man has been sentenced to 18 weeks in prison after pleading guilty to several offences of burglary, theft from a motor vehicle and an offence of theft of a motor vehicle.

Chris Gutteridge, 20, of Eastrea Court, Peterborough was located by a police dog unit on Saturday October 17.

He attempted to escape but was detained by Police Dog ‘Nitro’ and his handler PC Blake.

Gutteridge was found on possession of several items of stolen property.
